Land Acknowledgment:

I acknowledge the land I live on and work in was originally stewarded by various First Nation Tribes who have not received adequate recognition or justice for irreversible hardships imposed on them with the growth of western civilization. I recognize this land is considered ancestrally sacred by many. I strive to tread upon it with respect and integrity, allowing it to teach me how to become a better servant to all beings - both present and future generations to come.
